he was a stray

hi , ive taken in a stray 3 months ago tht was thrown out of a car and starved , hes very clingy and has put on weight but not to much on his lower back, prob is he needs constant attention, he goes around my flat crying all the time hes been neutered from before as i took him for a check up wen i first got him , and his breath stinks really bad , ive had cats in past so i know wats normal but im worried, he drinks alot of water, he likes his soft food in pate form and eats biscuits , he shivers alot also,and back legs arent fully strong as he can be quite clumpsy , plz i need advice , ive thought about getting a kitten incase his lonely what do u suggest? thank u

I hope the telephone advice helped
I do think it is worth worming him again if more than 2 months since he was done and get his liver, thyroid and kidney function checked out if his breath does not improve. I do not suggest getting a kitten at this stage.
