Poison from flea shampooI started using a new flea shampoo on him called Juz Catz. Since then I noticed that he has dramatically lost weight. I noticed there is a yellowish stain around the outer area of his lips and nose. I know he must have got it from licking his fur. So I rinse him again with just water to help wash away the shampoo. I notice the strong scent of the shampoo is still there. When he pees, I notice his urine colour is the exact colour of the flea shampoo (very yellowish to orange like colour). I tried to give him as much plain water as I can to help flush out the toxin from his body. I'm never again using the shampoo on him because I'm sure now it's the flea shampoo that's causing him to lose weight and lethargy. Please help me, I'm really worried about him. What do you suggest I do to flush out the toxin from his system? I notice his iris has become yellowish. Please help me, I love my cat and I don't want him to die. I'm also giving him Omega 3 fish oil at the moment and I hope that helps to flush out the toxin. 22/6/12 Answer this question |
