No longer sleeping at night,wants to climb all over me on bed sit on my face & scratch my neckPoppy is quite a nervous dog hates noises like fireworks etc so often gets spooked around that time.She normally sits waitin for us to go bed about 10pm then happily lays in her bed in our room sometimes during the night scratches side of bed to come up & lays at our feet & is lazy sometimes doesnt want to get up till bout 10am.All this last week very strange behaviour.Comes to bed but then scratches the door to get out stands outside the door scratches to come in.Ive tried leaving door open so she can wander about but all she then does is scratch the side of bed to be picked up when i do that she walks across bed jumps down then the whole process starts again.Or she gets on bed walks all over me wants to sit on my head or face or scratches me.She has a vacant look on her face.It feels like something is spooking her or shes got altziemers shes gone so wierd.Ive had very little sleep for at least 5 nts please help as im disabled & cant carry on like this?? 12/5/12 Answer this question |

Does sound as though there may be a degree of dementia starting here. Adviseble to get her liver and heart/circulation checked out. If all is normal consider Vivitonin to support the circulation.
