Chris - did you read some 'why dogs eat grass' links. Plenty about.

Eating grass can be related to the stomach acids feeling uncomfortable and the need to get rid of it or soak it up. If a dog actually asks to go out and is then hastily eating as much grass as possible, then this is when they are feeling uncomfortable and need to get rid of stomach acids.

Dogs being periodically sick with no other side effects seems to be normal hence I suppose where the saying "sick as a dog" comes from maybe. They have a short digestive tract and seem to be an animal that throws up more than most.

What are you feeding her on at the moment. It could be there is something in that that is irritating her stomach.

Try adding a spoonful of live natural yoghurt to her meals. This will help with most problems.

We are feeding her eukanuba medium breed food. I think she will be alright but just thought I would check. Thanks for your help.

Yes eukanuba is ok. I wanted to check it wasn't one of the very low quality ones that are full of colourants and preservatives.

If you are concerned then keep a little log of when she is sick, whether it is after food, after taking water, a long time from food ie first thing in the morning before she's fed... and also the same with the grass eating.

However, both in my experience are nothing to be worried about unless either are excessive or she shows signs of being not herself.

and worm her against tapeworms and round worms if not done so in the last 2 months.
eating grass is often an indication that there is some mild bowel irritation. I suspect that this is something to do with the roughage easing passage of indigestible bits of the dogs natural diet. One way up or down if you get my drift.

Yeah I get your drift, cheers mate. Will worm again.
