skin problem

She has had dandruff and hair loss in the past which we totally cured with a raw meat diet. It returned roughly 2 weeks ago on fer flanks only, hence the addition of a sardine and evening primrose oil, 500 mg as I'm almost certain it's diet related due to the way it cleared up before. Is there anything else I can do short of unnecessary and expensive skin tests - she is insured, just simply don't see the point until I've tried everything else.

I raw feed as well.

Agree it can sort out skin and coat problems as well.

The other things that can help a dry flaky skin are raw eggs - three a week and seaweed powder (kelp)..

however, one of mine still gets a very dull coat with flaky skin just before a big moult... however he doesn't lose fur in clumps at all.

I would give the sardines and primrose oil a few weeks to work then if not resolved only worry if it is worrying her as long as she is healthy in every other way

Fingers crossed then the scurfy skin does take time to produce and consequently it also takes time for the oils to be incorporated in the skin and the benefits to show
