she has been lethargic, not wanting to go outside and not eating for almost a week - was in heat over 2 1/2 weeks agofirst prognosis was infection in uterus (following heat) as not spayed -had high temperature and tender stomach - given antibiotics for a week (phzer - synulox) from Thur 28th June 1/7/12 Answer this question |

spleen tumours can often be removed but it does sound as though there other problems and your best bet is to contact the vets involved i the treatment. Chances are will be ok as long as keeping fluid down 1/7/12 If this answer helped you, please consider donating to our website |

my staffy had an infection that my vet failed to find he said it was a cystic spleen this was the friday of the juiblee bank hols he told me to take her back on the wednesday for an op to remove her spleen an hr into that op he called me to say her womb was infected & needed to be removed NOW i told him to go ahead half hr later she died on the operating table i cant help but think if the vet had picked up that infection & treated it earlier i would still have my baby. push the vets to find out whats wrong. hope it works out for you. 30/8/12 |
