Fed On:Corn, layer pellets, mixed corn, bread, vegetables, (free range in garden so various other things)
Kept:Free range in garden

Disorientated, stopped laying and lathargic

stopped laying about 6 weeks ago,bright for a while then lathargic.
today swimming in circles in the pond not controlling her head very well
disorientated and had to pick her up to put her in her coop.
very worried,help

if she stopped laying eggs thats normal however the rest dose not sound normal ask your local vet see what he/she thinks

Either a toxic problem or clostridial disease. Likely to be fatal but get her onto some peniciilin or ampicillin and keep your fingers crossed.

asked my vets advise he said because she seems ok first thing in the morning the only thing he can think of is epilepsy and there is no treatment.
if it gets worse i will prob consider putting her to sleep.
