Is there anything I can do to help my baby chicken

Hi I have a baby chicken that I got from southern states. My baby chicken was pasting and I kept cleaning her butt area 2 times a day and she was doing really good. She was happy again and yesterday I noticed her butt looked like it popped out. I looked online and found out its called prolapsed vent. But I have no clue what to do for her. She wont eat or drink. Her wings are down and I really dont think she is even laying down to sleep.. Is there anything I can do for her

Answer this question

Get her to a vet as soon as you can...if she hasn't eaten or drunk then she will dehydrate and go downhill very quickly..please don't leave it any longer...keep us updated. All the best.

cute mouse

Definitely recommend going to the vet but I found this site which may help :

Hope that helped

Martina Stuart

massage it very gently cold through cotton wool and having hopefully reduced it some what lubricate it well and sqeeze it back in.
Good luck
conside worms and coccidai as possible contributing causes even though she is a bit yoiung for either(i think it's a long toime since i dealt with chickens!)
